Mardi Himal

It has become the preferred alternative to the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, since the latter is down in a valley, whereas the Mardi Himal Trek runs on a parallel route up on a ridge with correspondingly better views of the surrounding peaks, including Machapuchare, the sacred fishtail mountain.
